Lost..

Each time I laughed
I wanted to cry.
Each smile of mine,
a tear.
To the world I seemed
the happiest girl;
Happiness
was a mask I had to wear.

I seemed to you
so full of joy,
I gave my heart to all
But truly there was no heart to give
and joy,
was but a fraud.

Such an actress was myself,
I hid away my sorrow.
I watched each day go
By and by..
prepared my stage
for tomorrow.

Each day the sun awoke the world
Shining strong and bright
And though I rose
Alongside all,
For me,
It held no light.

I seemed to have so many friends,
So many heart to own.
Yet, although I played along
I really was
Alone.

Each minute is eternity.
Each second,
So far apart.
But still I can tell what went wrong
From the moment
I lost
my heart.

Lost and Found

Some things in life that you hold closest to heart
Only remain in memory.

Some things in life you want the most
Only reside in dreams.

But without the memories to steer you,
To remind you of the tears, the hurt, the pain,
You wouldnt know what more to dream;
What to hope for, what to aspire for, what to wait for.
Only because of that path you took yesterday
Can you know how to deal with the thorns of today,
To wipe away the tears in the moonlight
To face the world, with that renewed smile

That would compete with the newborn sunshine
tomorrow.

Is True Love
Smiling when my heart is breaking,
Hiding my tears just for his smile.
Wishing his every wish comes true,
Breaking my own dreams meanwhile.
Praying that every tear that I shed,
A smile crosses his face.
That with every blink of my eye,
His sorrows have no place.
That every breath I take,
He takes another breath of bliss;
That with each one of my heartbeats,
Only when his beats happily, will do mine justice.

Or my world will taint to gray.

When I first met you
I felt something was different

As time went by
